Callow Hill

Callow Hill near Stonesfield is the site of roman villa.

It is an enclosed Roman villa in a rectangular enclosure measuring about 138m from north to south and 216m east to west.

Pottery finds approximate the enclosures construction towards the end of the first century AD.
